The Grenache was sourced from Barossa Valley old gnarled vines that were planted in 1912. The fruit was handpicked before being gently destemmed retaining whole berries. The Grenache was fermented at cool temperatures in open top fermenters to retain the varietal aromas and flavours and, then pressed to a combination of new and seasoned French oak puncheons.
