2022 Mataro Rosé
A vibrant and refreshing Rosé wine made from Mataro and Cinsault grown predominantly within the Marananga sub-region. The bouquet is bursting with aromas of red cherries and raspberries. The palate is loaded with bright red fruits held in check with crisp, refreshing acidity and a lovely line of fine savoury textural elements.
100 Year Old Grenache
Sourced from a single 100-year-old vineyard at Marananga on the Valley’s western ridge, this wine is a stunning example of the extraordinary quality of old vine Barossa Grenache. Low yields of flavour-packed berries yield aromas of dark cherries, liquorice and plum with the palate bursting with red currants and blackberry fruits, baking spices and fine-grained tannins.
2018 Lepus Shiraz
The ultimate expression of Shiraz from our estate vineyards at Marananga. Sourced from a single block on the northern edge of our vineyard, aged in new and seasoned French oak for 24 months. Black in the glass, showing complex characters of black fruits, savoury charcuterie and warm spice on the nose and palate. Rich and intense with long silken tannins, this wine can be enjoyed over the next 10-15 years.
2018 Marananga Cabernet Shiraz
A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Shiraz. Sourced from vineyard blocks across the state to build aroma, flavour and textural complexity. Typical of the Marananga sub-region, the wine is deeply coloured with a richly structured palate of spiced dark fruits wrapped around a framework of savoury tannin. To be enjoyed over the next 5 – 10 years.
2019 Marananga Shiraz
Sourced from a number of different vineyard blocks located across our vineyard estate at Marananga on the western side of the Barossa Valley. The deep, sandy soils riddled with ancient stone and subsurface clay produce classically proportioned Barossa Shiraz. Wines are deep in colour, displaying ample aromatics of spiced black fruits which follow through to a bountiful palate. To be enjoyed over the next 5 – 10 years.
2018 Ironscraper Shiraz
Sourced from our estate vineyard at Marananga, a small component (5%) of Cabernet Sauvignon brings additional complexity to a wine that displays all the hallmarks of classic Barossa Valley Shiraz. Deep colour, ample flavour and firm, finely structured tannin. To be enjoyed over the next 5 – 10 years.
2020 The Springer Shiraz
A blend of Shiraz sourced from trusted growers across the Barossa Valley. This is a bright and energetic wine showing plenty of complex spiced aromatics and plum and red fruit characters on the palate complemented by chewy, velvety tannins. To be enjoyed over the next 5 – 10 years.
